Most of the K03 turbos that you find on NZ and foreign auction sites are Chinese fakes. If they are costing less than $700 USD new then you can count on it

Even if you buy a brand new part that is genuine Borg Warner it will still now be made in China

For sale here is a 100% Genuine Original OEM part manufactured by KKK in Europe. It has been removed from a Mk4 Golf GTI which was dismantled due to collision damage. Minimal shaft play and was not smoking
