From 2009 model year onwards VAG introduced modifications to the timing chain oil-pump and chain tensioner. This particular engine from 2011 is that later revised type
Was able to be started and run prior to dismantling. A full diagnostic scan was also conducted on the donor car which showed no stored error codes in relation to the engine or transmission For sale as a long-block. This means SALE DOES NOT INCLUDE ancillaries such as alternator, fuel pump, injection & ignition systems, starter motor, AC compressor, manifolds and plastic engine covers
