Some VW radios, usually the more basic models with Diversity aerial systems, have 2 separate male FAKRA plugs on the rear panel; one white and one beige. Other more high-end models such as the excellent RCD510 touchscreen have a double male connector

If your particular car has two single female aerial wires coming from the dashboard wiring harness then they will not physically fit to the double male on the VW radio, for instance when upgrading to a better model such as RCD510

** THIS ADAPTER SOLVES THAT PROBLEM BY ALLOWING BOTH OF THE CAR'S AERIALS STILL TO BE USED AND SO MAXIMISING THE RECEPTION SIGNAL STRENGTH **

Do not worry too much about the colours of the plugs fitted to the adapter ends. Just inspect your various plugs on radio and antenna wires closely, and compare to what is shown on the photos
