Some VW radios, particularly chinese market models such as RCD330G, have only a single male FAKRA aerial plug on the rear panel, usually beige. Cars built at factory with diversity antenna system often have two female aerial wires in a twin connector block coming from the dashboard wiring harness, making it impossible to connect to a replacement radio without mutilating the plug, and even if that is done there will still be a loss of 50% or more of signal reception strength
** THIS ADAPTER SOLVES THAT PROBLEM BY ALLOWING BOTH OF THE CAR'S AERIALS STILL TO BE USED COMBINED AND SO MAXIMISING THE RECEPTION SIGNAL STRENGTH **
Do not worry too much about the colours of the plugs fitted to the adapter ends. Just inspect your various plugs on radio and antenna wires closely, and compare to what is shown on the photos
