This is a popular retrofit into Golf Mk4, but there is a bit of work to do by way of adapters to match the quadlock connector on this radio to the original iso connectors in the Golf. Similarly some work to get the can-bus talking properly. I don't know any more than that, and have not personally fitted one into a Mk4, so any further research would have to be carried out by the buyer
