This listing is for a bare switch WITHOUT mounting plate. If you require the mounting plate as well then I have switches with plate on another listing for the passenger side, but I do NOT have the mounting plate for driver's side. The only way to get that plate is from a VW dealer, and for silly money

The type of switch here, on this listing, with 5 large protruding spade connectors, is found on both NZ-new and Jap import cars. For some reason VW installed one switch of each type in the driver's door, and the "A" part in the passenger's door
