Note: There are two distinctly different versions of this pipe found on EA888 2.0T. One has a second valve device located at the "T" intersection of the 2 pipes (for sale here) and the other type does not have that piece. You can find the alternative type elsewhere on our store as 06J133781CE

Common fix for error code DTC # P0440

The web is awash with copies of this part out of Asia, and also fake valves on their own without pipework. They may or may not work but probably not for long if they do. If the price anywhere in the world is less than $80 NZD then the part is almost certain to be rubbish. A genuine part from VW in NZ is more than $350. Spend your money wisely

Look closely at our photos and in particular the printed identification markings on the hard plastic pipes. A lot of the cheapest counterfeits will show no printed markings at all yet there are NZ sellers asking $200 and more for that poor quality copy product
