SELLER RESPONSE: There is only one country of origin for these particular parts and that is China. You can buy them from the UK, USA, or any source you choose, they are still the same quality, and from the same manufacturer(s). Buyer spends enough time around the owner forums to know this, and also to know that the parts usually benefit from a few minutes spent cleaning up the casting. In conversation it became apparent he was actually piqued that the part was chinese and that he could have bought from AliExpress for less, as if that should ever have come as a surprise to him. The set is most definitely an upgrade to the weak oem factory parts as stated, was on the shelf in NZ and supplied in a couple of days (not weeks as it would have been if he had bought from China) - convenience comes at a cost. This seems to be a negative feedback for no real reason.

REVIEW: This set has the aluminium feature going for it, but the cast flashing inside each part is apparent. You will need to take time to grind off these overcasts if you want to ensure no aluminium flakes off into your system. You will also want to sand down the flange to ensure it is flat enough not to allow any leaks once installed. This is listed as an upgrade to the plastic parts, but the owner of VagParts, in a discussion about the parts, admits it is the same as the Chinese parts overseas, and said you get what you pay for. Take that for what it is worth.
