VW VOLKSWAGEN TOUAREG 7L CENTRE BEARING AND SEAL REPAIR KIT FOR REAR CARDAN DRIVESHAFT 7L0521102N 2003 - 2010
** THIS IS A NON-GENUINE AFTERMARKET KIT - VW EXPECT YOU TO REPLACE THE COMPLETE DRIVESHAFT WHEN THE RUBBER DIAPHRAGM MOUNTING OR THE ROLLER BEARING ITSELF FAILS **
Any illustrations showing a complete driveshaft are for reference puropses only. What is being sold here is the 4-piece kit as shown, comprising bearing assembly, dust-cover boot, clip for boot and grease
** DO NOT WASTE YOUR LABOUR AND GO THROUGH THE HASSLE OF REMOVING A SHAFT AND REPLACING THE BEARING ONLY - REMOVING THE OLD DUST SEAL BOOT WILL DESTROY IT AND WITHOUT FITTING A NEW SEAL EVERYTHING WILL GO BAD AGAIN VERY SOON AFTERWARDS. IT IS JUST FOOLISH TO SAVE A FEW DOLLARS BY BUYING THE BEARING ON ITS OWN **
For driveshafts with typical part number: 7L0521102N or 7L0 421 102 N
To be used for the repair of reference #6 in the parts catalogue illustration
For engine codes: AZZ BKJ BAA BMV BMX BRJ BKS and others
There are plenty of Youtube and internet forum guides online that explain how to use this kit. Please do not ask us how to use it; if you have to do so then probably the job requires more workshop experience than you possess
Any competent workshop should however be able to carry out the work for you
In the course of dismantling many Touaregs for parts we have come across a number of amateur, dodgy and outright dangerous previous attempts at replacing this bearing, obviously carried out by people with little mechanical knowledge and even less proper tools. Please do not be responsible for more similar bad workmanship that could result in serious damage or even injury
Also used on Porsche Cayenne
Please check your part numbers and engine code and be quite sure this is the correct component for your vehicle. There are no refunds if you get it wrong
** FREE NZ SHIPPING NON-RURAL **
If you are not sure, please ask a question in Live Chat or by email, including your engine code and vin number, and I will do my best to help
