This is NOT a Japanese market module but is a direct replacement and upgrade for those modules. Those China/Japan versions which arrive in Jap imports usually carry the part number 4E0035729C and have a much older hardware type of H41 (taken from early A8). They were incapable of being upgraded to the final software version 5570. The "C" part also has an extra plug for Japanese toll card reader, which is redundant for NZ and is not needed
