AUDI TT 8N 1999 - 2006 GENUINE OEM HEADLIGHT SWITCH HALOGEN WITH HEIGHT RANGE ADJUST AND INSTRUMENT DIMMER CLEAN USED CONDITION

To suit 1st generation models from 1999 to 2006 with halogen headlights - the version for Xenon/HID lights does not have the dial for beam height adjustment

It is hard to find these switches without bad wear and paint damage, and particularly the version for halogen lights. This example has no such wear or deterioration to the faceplate, at all. It is cosmetically as good as you are likely to find without buying new. Last new price was well over $300 and the part is listed as obsolete/no longer available, so new is out of the question

Note: Someone before us has tried to remove this switch module without understanding how to retract the 2 claws that secure it in the dashboard. One of those claws is broken and missing (see photo). The switch will still mount securely with the remaining claw and perhaps also with some silicon adhesive on the other side where the clip is missing from. Once in the dashboard this will all be invisible

If you need a switch for TT with xenon headlights then it is a simple matter to swap over the section for range adjustment/instrument dimming for the corresponding piece without that adjustment from your old switch assembly. The extra inscription on the faceplate for range would have to be ignored
