This harness will let you install 9006 fog lights in place of your H11 fog lights
If you are fitting aftermarket "euro-style" convex lensed foglights to your Volkswagen Golf Mk5 or Mk6 you will find that the manufacturers have made their housing to accept the later 9006 type of bulb. This is all good if your car already has 9006 sockets on the factory wiring harness, but earlier Golfs (2004 - 2006 approx) might have sockets for H11 bulbs
