A used original OEM right side headlamp carefully removed from a 2006 facelift Jap-import Volkswagen Beetle

AVERAGE USED CONDITION - LOOK VERY CLOSELY AT PHOTOS FROM OTHER SELLERS BECAUSE THEY OFTEN DO NOT DISCLOSE DAMAGE - THESE ARE DIFFICULT TO REMOVE WITHOUT BREAKING OR LOSING ONE OR MORE OF THE RETAINING CLIPS, WITHOUT WHICH THE LIGHT WILL NOT FIT SNUGLY. COUNT EVERY SINGLE CLIP AND COMPARE - THERE SHOULD BE 3 METAL AND 3 PLASTIC ATTACHMENTS BUT THIS PARTICULAR LIGHT HAS HAD ONE OF THE PLASTIC POINTS DAMAGED AS SHOWN IN OUR DETAIL PICS

There are two other minor defects, both shown in photos. A very small chip in the edge, again in photos. We have sealed this with the correct adhesive. There is also some deterioration of the reflector chrome in the reversing light panel

If you have a smashed or significantly damaged light then thjs will let you dodge the very high cost of a new genuine part and will look quite presentable, but we cannot promise that a trainspotter WOF tester might not find a reason to fail the part. Some testers exercise common sense in their discretion - others might not. "It is what it is"
